I was telling Dest one of my (many many many) wierd ideas I get from dreams, and she really liked one. So we've been working on character designs and background elements to get it to work :3
I was sketching while watching the latest True Blood *points to Pam!icon in her LJ* and got inspired for a character due to a song in it.
Specifically these lyrics:
"She's Louisiana Hot Sauce
Hotter than a fireball
Smoother than strawberry wine"
Song is: Louisiana Hot Sauce by Sammy Kershaw
So yes, the character is a real...southern belle. Well, there's technically two of them, friends who have seperate 'power/abilities' but the same 'maneater' sensibilites, just one wears them up front and you get warning, the other, doesn't. It's definatly fun to have my inspiration back!
I love inspiration. Now I have something to work on at the beach next week! Yeehaw!
Note to self: Update music on phone to have moosix to listen to...I wish I could find more Circ! D:

i've heard that the rec pool and hickey pool are free for students, but does that mean you have to be taking summer sessions to have free access? im not taking SSI or II but am im davis all summer and am baking and wanna swim a few laps...so is it free then, or do i have to pay to get in even though i'm still a student?
btw just out of curiosity does anybody go swimming in the rec pool often? how crazy-crowded does it get on an average summer weekday?

Since when did craiglist make you give them an email address and phone number in order to give things away for free?
I'm moving to a new apartment and I don't feel like hauling all my stuff over. If you are interested in any couches, bookshelves, tv stands, dressers or the tv, send me a text. I also have every past issue of Scientific American and Discover for the past 3 years or so and yaoi manga. On top of that, free clothing for girls size 14-16 and women's size 1-3.
You have to move the stuff yourself. I don't have a car. And I'm in the process of moving after being at school from 8 am to 8 pm ><

My macbook power supply is crapping out, I need a new one. Anyone know of some way to get around paying frickin $80 for a new one? Personally I think it's a problem of poor design (fraying wires, etc.) but I doubt Apple would just replace it for free. I did purchase the applecare warranty when I bought the computer but I think it may have run out by now, I don't know if power supplies are even covered under that warranty, and I wouldn't really know how to use it anyway. Any advice you have would be awesome. Thanks.

This morning, I found Gibbs watching wrestling with my fiancee and he was watching it pretty intensely! I just hope Gibbs doesn't decide to recreate some of the moves on his cage-mate, DiNozzo.

Dude, it's either the meds or the show...but this is HILARIOUS. XD
OHSHI- HE CALLED HER A NEWBIE. OHNOEZ.
Though I think the concept for the show is rather neat. You get to BE the creature instead of standing on a platform and yapping about shit (I'm looking at YOU YugiOH!...you and your 'friendship')...and for some reason, the animation is highly reminding me of Totally Spies!...which is wierd.
I'm gonna bet it's the medication.

I was talking to Dan last night, and I realized how much I missed RPing...I just have no clue where to go, or what kind to join.
I'm not too big of a fan of forum RPing, it can get too messy, complex and I don't need to sit around and wait for someone to RP with...I'm usually a fan of one on one...but wher the hell do I find someone decent to RP with? I don't need someone who only wants ERP, I don't want some kid coming up to me and you are damned well not going to RP with me if 'u tlk lyk dis'....I'm so picky...

Hello UCD students! I hope you all are having a great summer! I have some questions I hope some of you can answer. I am thinking about doing an intercampus visitor program for spring 2010. My question are what are the chances of getting into the program? Do they only allow you to enroll the program if if the classes you will be taking is in your major? What if you want to take other classes not related in your major but maybe for graduate or medical school? Can you still participate in the program if you graduate or do you have to finish the program prior to graduation? If you have done the program, how was your experience? Did you like it?
I know that's a lot of questions, I really want to know more about the program before applying and to avoid any risky fees if I cannot get in the program. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-We do accept ALL kinds of characters. Anthro characters are encouraged (as that's what most of us draw), but we respect everyone's characters. If you post a human character please also post a anthro character as well so that if the person doesn't draw humans very well you will still get a decent icon.
-Do not sign up until you have turned in.
-Concise but specific descriptions. Oh, and when you get your assignment, please take the time to read them!
-Try to keep reference images to a maximum of PG-13, please. If you absolutely must use an image that's a little questionable, mark it NSFW.
-Only sign up if you believe you can make a good effort and turn it in on time.
-Spread the word. :D
NO Fur Affinity reference pic links. Please avoid DeviantArt reference pic links as well. Photobucket works, try it, you'll love it. NO links which require you to be a site member to view them.
